Environmental Management System and Environmental Policy at DHL Express

The Environmental Management System (EMS) based on the ISO 14001:2005 standards, which will be implemented in DHL Express Hungary Ltd. in 2012, is based on an Environmental Policy Statement, which is the driver for, and serves the aim of, the ability of the organization to maintain and potentially improve its environmental performance. This policy, therefore, reflects the commitment of top management to comply with applicable legal and other requirements, to prevent pollution and to continually improve. The Environmental Policy Statement forms the basis upon which the organization sets its objectives and targets. Understanding the Policy is in the interest of both external and internal parties of DHL Express Hungary Ltd. alike.

Making a positive impact - globally and locally

Deutsche Post DHL is committed to making a lasting and positive change in the world by using its knowledge and global presence in ways that benefit people and the environment. We focus on three strategic areas of involvement - GoGreen, GoHelp and GoTeach - to live up our responsibility. We always encourage our employees to volunteer in corporate and local projects.
 

GoGreen: Protecting the environment

  • Partnership with SOS Children's Villages in several countries to support the development of young people for gaining better opportunities in life
